Susah dimengerti orang awam. Apakah artinya? Padahal oleh pabrikanan dibuat sederhana biar semua orang ngerti. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Dasarnya bermacam-macam kabel itu hanya bermuatan positif (+) atau negatif (-) saja. Tidak ada kabel yang bermuatan banci macam manusia. Jadi memang mudah untuk dimengerti.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;Biar nggak linglung, berikut dibeberkan soal panduan arti sejumlah warna kabel di empat pabrikan ternama. Tentu tidak semua. Namun, pegas itu dari lempengan pelat baja dengan bentuk lingkar dalam melengkung.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Boleh dibilang, teknologi ini masuk kategori lawas dan dipopulerkan kembali oleh dua merek sekaligus. Hanya, ada anggapan kalau kopling model per diafragma kurang kuat dan susah perawatannya, bahkan untuk mencari per &lt;em&gt;aftermarket&lt;/em&gt; atau ingin meningkatkan performa, hal itu termasuk paling sulit.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"Kalau soal perawatan, baik kopling per spiral, maupun diafragma sama saja caranya sebab kemampuannya tergantung dari ketebalan dan kinerja kampas dan pelat kopling itu sendiri," ungkap Haryadi Wijaya, Technical Support Division PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Akan tetapi, kalau dibilang tidak kuat dibanding per spiral, menurut Haryadi, hal itu salah. Justru, menggunakan per diafragma, daya cengkeram kampas dengan pelat kopling makin sempurna. Hal ini karena pegas mirip piring kecil, lebih halus dan rata menekan dibanding hanya bertumpu pada bagian ke-4 dan ke-6 per spiral.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Selain itu, kopling sistem ini mampu mengurangi gesek dan memperingan putaran kopling karena kampas hanya tiga lembar sehingga tidak menimbulkan banyak gejala selip. Wajar bila sistem diafragma lebih &lt;em&gt;smooth&lt;/em&gt; karena karet peredam entakan yang dipasang antara gigi sekunder dan  rumah kopling lebih banyak.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"Otomatis, pakai kopling sistem ini bukan cuma harga motor dan &lt;em&gt;part&lt;/em&gt; yang jadi murah. Daya tahan kampas dan pelat kopling pun jauh lebih awet dibanding per kopling spiral," imbuh Haryadi.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Walau tahan lebih lama, untuk mengetahui, apakah kemampuan kampas dan pelat sudah mulai turun, caranya tidak jauh beda. Diukur dengan menggunakan sigmat atau merasakan turunnya tenaga motor saat jalan.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Namun, sebelum memvonis itu, ada baiknya lakukan seting ulang stut kopling. Setelannya ada di bak kopling. Caranya, sama dengan bebek pakai per spiral.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Cukup kendurkan mur pengunci baut setelah kopling pakai kunci ring 14 ke kiri. Terus putar baut penyetel ke kanan (searah jarum jam) hingga terasa ada sentuhan. Lalu, putar kembali ke kiri hingga mentok sampai terasa dan berhenti.
